Possibly, but thus far it has only happened in dreams. The Echo, we called it. When visions of the past appeared to me in my home, I was conscious but they would render me incapable of any action. It was rare, but not unheard of to see the past in a dream.
The Echo manifested in a number of ways and this was only one such ability it granted those who had it. It could vary from person to person, for example a woman named Mikoto Jinba had it but could view potential futures and so long as I was near her, I would see them as well.
But she was the only one that I knew who could. Before last month I was never able to see into the future, only the past. Regardless of what I see, however, the way they look and feel are nearly identical to the Echo aside from the lack of clarity.
Sounds like a proper headache no matter how it manifests. Although, probably better to have it relegated to dreams than some other more inconvenient timing.

I can't claim I'd be surprised if something about this place changed the way it presents information; whether that means changing what you're capable of seeing or when you see it.

An energy source. That is what I saw, like energy was being drawn from a powerful source. Crystals were used in my realm as a source for incredible power, but I don't know for sure whether or not they're connected.

Yes. And both here and in my home I had no control over when it happened or what I saw. I should be thankful that it has only happened twice thus far and that what I see here isn't as vivid as what the Echo gave.
